This series consists of 35 paintings. These were painted on the pages of an upholsterer’s sample book. 
	I took the book apart and used the canvas pages which had plant-like structures printed on them to scratch, 
	splash, dance and rage with colours and lines... sometimes using wallpaper and pieces of paper until they 
	crystallized into woods of colour and were covered with a new strange growth – a mixture	of mould, fungus, 
	moss, lichen and herbs, piles or lumps of plants which appear alien and familiar at the same time. The plants 
	originally printed on the book’s pages had communicated with my organic structures in a weird way....
